Responsibilities:
1 Source, evaluate, and purchase stainless steel materials, fabrication supplies, welding consumables, and project-related equipment required for manufacturing and turnkey engineering projects.
2 Identify and assess domestic and international suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness, quality standards, and timely availability of materials for food, dairy, pharmaceutical, chemical, and beverage industry projects.
3 Prepare and process purchase orders, review quotations, negotiate pricing and delivery terms, and ensure compliance with company procurement policies.
4 Coordinate closely with engineering, fabrication, and project teams to forecast material requirements and support uninterrupted production and installation schedules.
5 Monitor inventory levels and supplier performance to minimize delays, control costs, and maintain continuity across multiple concurrent projects.
6 Review supplier documentation, certifications, and specifications to ensure materials meet regulatory, safety, and industry standards.
7 Track procurement records, contracts, deliveries, and invoices, and resolve discrepancies related to quality, quantity, or timelines.
8 Support continuous improvement by identifying alternative suppliers, cost-saving opportunities, and efficient procurement practices aligned with business growth.
