Compensation: $36.00 per hour (to be negotiated), 35–40 hours per week

Responsibilities:
1. Review and follow technical welding instructions, fabrication drawings, and project documentation related to stainless steel manufacturing work.
2. Join stainless steel components used in tanks, vessels, piping, and process equipment using TIG (GTAW), MIG (GMAW), FCAW, and stick (SMAW) welding methods.
3. Set up and operate welding machines and tools required for manual and semi-automatic welding tasks.
4. Evaluate metal type, thickness, and joint configuration to confirm suitability for welding and choose correct procedures.
5. Prepare materials for welding by cutting, cleaning, aligning, and finishing joints using flame-cutting and grinding tools.
6. Perform brazing or soldering operations when required to secure fittings, seams, or precision stainless steel parts.
7. Shape, straighten, and bend metal sections using shop equipment such as brakes, shears, and forming tools to meet fabrication requirements.
8. Examine weld quality and maintain welding equipment, carrying out routine servicing and minor repairs to support safe and consistent production.
